Our Staff

Our Providers

The staff at Wadsworth Pediatrics have close ties to the communities they serve. Dr. Oehlenschlager, Dr. Reynolds, and Shelli Reed, our nurse practitioner, all grew up in Wadsworth and graduated from Wadsworth High School. Dr. Blair grew up in the adjacent community of Norton and graduated from Norton High School.

William Oehlenschlager, M.D., Ph.D

William

William Oehlenschlager, M.D., Ph.D, has practiced at Wadsworth Pediatrics since 1996. Dr. “O” graduated from Walsh College in 1985 with a B.S. in Chemistry. He then proceeded to spend the next eight years at the Medical University of South Carolina graduating in 1993 with his M.D. and a Ph.D. in pharmacology. Dr. “O” completed his residency in pediatrics at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio in 1996. He is board-certified in pediatrics and a longstanding member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. “O” and his wife, Sherry, raised their two grown children in Wadsworth.


Julie Reynolds, M.D.

Julie Reynolds, M.D., has practiced at Wadsworth Pediatrics since 1999. Dr. Reynolds graduated from the College of Wooster in 1992 with a B.S. in Biology. She then attended medical school at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo graduating with an M.D. in 1996. Dr. Reynolds completed her residency in pediatrics at the State University of New York’s Buffalo Children’s Hospital in 1999. She is board-certified in pediatrics and a longstanding member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Reynolds and her husband, Brett, are raising their two children in Medina.


Kimberly Blair, M.D.

Kimberly Blair, M.D., has practiced at Wadsworth Pediatrics since 2001. Dr. Blair graduated from Toledo University in 1995 with a B.S. in Biology. She remained in Toledo to attend medical school at the Medical College of Ohio graduating with an M.D. in 1998. Dr. Blair completed her residency in pediatrics at Akron Children’s Hospital in 2001. She is board-certified in pediatrics and a longstanding member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Blair and her husband, Gerry, are raising their three children in the Medina Highland area.


Shelli Reed, C.P.N.P

Shelli

Shelli Reed, C.P.N.P, has practiced at Wadsworth Pediatrics since 2011. Nurse practitioner Reed graduated from Akron University with a B.S. in Nursing in 1991. She spent the next 8 years working as a nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Akron Children’s Hospital. Shelli first joined Wadsworth Pediatrics as an office nurse in 1998 and was employed in this capacity for 9 years during which time she earned her C.P.N.P. from Akron University in 2007. Upon receiving her advanced degree, Shelli spent the next 5 years working as a nurse practitioner at Ontario Children’s Health in Mansfield, OH before rejoining Wadsworth Pediatrics in 2011 in her current capacity. Shelli and her husband, Matt, raised their three grown children in Wadsworth.
